Andrew was born in Kampala, Uganda during the tumultuous reign of  Idi Amin.  His early years were plagued with war and poverty as Uganda was battling a  cruel dictator.  After Museveni’s war, when things became more peaceful, Andrew began to flourish with his creative talents.

 

Fifth of 7 children, Andrew worked hard from a young age to pay his way through school.  He began partnering with his art instructors, making t-shirts and banners for local organizations.  Soon he became the artist-on-call for several organizations.  

 

Andrew graduated from Nkumba University with a Bachelors of Arts in Industrial and Commercial Arts in 2000.  Since graduating, Andrew has devoted his life to his art and church.  

 

In 2005 Andrew moved to Chicago to get married.  There he has been able build his portfolio of fine art and network with some of the country’s finest people.  On March 19, 2009, he welcomed his first son, Tristen, into the world!
